Accessibility Statement
At DJ Handy Rides, we are committed to providing transportation services that are inclusive and accessible to all riders, including those with disabilities. Our goal is to ensure every rider has a safe, respectful, and reliable experience.
We welcome riders who use mobility devices, service animals, or require additional assistance. However, because
DJ Handy Rides drivers use their own personal vehicles, there may be situations where a driver is unable to accommodate certain needs due to vehicle limitations or lack of proper equipment.
Please note the following:

Drivers may decline a trip if their vehicle is not properly equipped to safely transport a rider with a mobility device or other accessibility needs.

Drivers may also decline a trip if they are not physically able to safely assist or access the rider's pick-up or drop-off location.

While we respect and support the use of service animals, a driver may refuse a trip involving a service dog if there is a reasonable concern that the animal could cause damage to the vehicle (e.g., shedding, scratching, odor, or other risk).
We encourage riders with accessibility needs to communicate clearly through the app or phone when booking a ride so drivers can best prepare or inform the rider if they are unable to accommodate.
