DJ Handy Rides Refund Policy

At DJ Handy Rides, we strive to ensure that every ride meets your expectations. If you encounter any issues during your ride, please reach out to our support team, and we’ll work with you to resolve the situation as quickly as possible. Below is an outline of our refund policy.

1. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be issued under the following circumstances:

  • Incorrect Fare Charge: If you believe you’ve been charged incorrectly or overcharged, we’ll review the charge and issue a refund if the error is confirmed.

  • Driver Cancellation: If your driver cancels your ride after you’ve been matched, you may be eligible for a full refund of the fare.

  • Late Arrival: If your driver arrives more than 15 minutes after the scheduled pickup time, you may be eligible for a partial or full refund based on the circumstances.

  • Service Disruption: In the event of a technical issue, such as an app crash, that causes a disruption in your ride, we will assess the situation and offer a refund if applicable.

2. Refund Requests

To request a refund, please contact our customer support team within 7 days of your ride. You can reach out via the app or email at support@djhandyrides.com. Be sure to include:

  • Your ride details (date, time, and route)

  • A brief explanation of the issue you experienced

  • Any supporting documents or screenshots (if applicable)

3. Non-Refundable Charges

Certain charges are non-refundable, including:

  • Cancellation Fees: If you cancel your ride after a driver has been assigned, a cancellation fee may apply, depending on the time of cancellation.

  • No-Show Fee: If you fail to appear at your scheduled pickup location or do not notify your driver, a no-show fee may apply.

  • Tolls, Fees, and Taxes: Government-mandated tolls, fees, or taxes are not refundable.

  • Ride Upcharges: Price surges during high-demand periods are subject to the prevailing rate at the time of booking and are not refundable.

4. Refund Method

Refunds will be issued to the same payment method used for the original ride. Please allow 5-10 business days for the funds to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.

5. Special Circumstances

In rare cases of extreme situations, such as driver misconduct or safety concerns, we may issue a refund or provide a credit for future rides at our discretion. DJ Handy Rides reserves the right to investigate and assess each situation on a case-by-case basis.
